By accessing our website, attending our clinic, booking an appointment, or otherwise using our services (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our Services.

2. Important Medical Information

No Emergency Services

MBR Health does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 immediately or attend your nearest emergency department.

Provision of Healthcare Services

MBR Health is a healthcare provider. Our services are delivered by qualified healthcare professionals, including radiologists, radiographers, and clinical staff.

Our services form part of your broader medical care. A clinical relationship is established when you attend for imaging or procedures.

Reports, imaging, and procedural outcomes are intended to assist your referring practitioner. Diagnosis, treatment decisions, and ongoing care remain the responsibility of your treating doctor.

3. Our Services

We provide a range of medical imaging and procedural services, which may include:

• Diagnostic imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI)
• Advanced diagnostic imaging
• Interventional or advanced imaging services

Our Services include performing imaging or procedures, producing reports, and communicating findings to referring practitioners.

Limitations

While we aim to provide high-quality care, no imaging test or procedure guarantees detection of all conditions or successful treatment outcomes.

4. Interventional and Procedural Services

Some Services involve minimally invasive or image-guided procedures.

By proceeding with these Services, you acknowledge that:

• You will be provided with information about the procedure, including risks, benefits, and alternatives
• You will be required to provide informed consent prior to the procedure
• All medical procedures carry risks, including but not limited to infection, bleeding, pain, allergic reactions, or other complications
• Outcomes may vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed

You agree to follow all pre- and post-procedure instructions provided by our clinical staff.

5. Appointments and Referrals

Most services require a valid referral from a registered healthcare practitioner, unless otherwise permitted by law.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when booking or attending an appointment.

You are responsible for informing us of any relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, implants, or pregnancy prior to your appointment or procedure.

6. Fees and Payments

Fees may apply to Services provided by MBR Health. These may include Medicare-billed services, private billing, or out-of-pocket costs.

You agree to pay all applicable fees as quoted or invoiced. We may use third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions.

We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any expected costs prior to your appointment.

Payment Methods and Surcharges

MBR Health accepts a range of payment methods. A surcharge may apply to certain payment methods to recover the cost of processing electronic payment transactions, where permitted by law. Any applicable surcharge will be disclosed before payment is processed.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

General Appointments

You must provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or failure to attend may incur a cancellation fee.

MRI Appointment Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may change and you may need to reschedule or cancel your MRI appointment. To help us provide timely care to all patients, the following short-notice cancellation policy applies:

• 2 or more business days’ notice: No cancellation fee
• 1 full business day’s notice: 50% of the appointment fee will be charged
• Less than 1 business day’s notice (including same-day cancellations or non-attendance): 100% of the appointment fee will be charged

Important

Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be received during our business hours to be considered valid notice.

We strongly recommend contacting us by phone to ensure your request is received and processed promptly. While you may send an email, our inbox is not monitored continuously and we cannot guarantee that email requests will be received in time to meet the required notice periods.

8. Results and Reports

Reports are prepared by qualified radiologists and are provided to your referring practitioner.

In some cases, results may also be made available directly to you in accordance with applicable laws.

You are responsible for following up with your referring practitioner to discuss results and next steps.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect, use, and disclose your personal and health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

By using our Services, you consent to the handling of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MBR Health is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, branding, reports, and images, remains the property of MBR Health unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.
